Textile artist and maker with a passion for wild colour, Zu(za)na explores slow processes of natural dyeing, botanical printing and stitching in her creative practice.

Inspired by nature, she enjoys working outdoors in tune with the seasons. Growing a dye garden, responsibly foraging for local dye plants and vegetation and using plants to create colour nurtures her connection with natural world.

Zuzana finds magic in working with plant-based dyes using botanical printing and hand dyeing fabric with colours extracted from flowers, leaves, roots or bark.

Using both hand and machine stitching she then transforms these naturally dyed or printed fabrics into wearable art and unique homewares, accessories or art pieces.

Zuna creations textiles are infused with plants, stories, love and a sense of time and place.

Every creation is unique and one off a kind.

Based in London, Zuzana currently works from her home studio.

Zuzana is open to and welcomes commissions, collaborations and custom orders.

She enjoys sharing her knowledge and enthusiasm about botanical dyeing and printing with others by facilitating creative experiences.
